Warehouse to let in Bristol supportive of new work scheme

Central park Bristol, the available to let warehouse, is pleased to see new schemes coming in at a local level to help youth unemployment. It is designed to help people aged 16 to 24 to find work, and will be launched next month at Weston College.

The idea behind the scheme is to target young people who are looking for a job or apprenticeship but currently lack the confidence or skills to properly pursue it.

Based at the college’s business enterprise centre, the programme will offer help with everything from job searches, interview techniques, basic English and math skills, and a chance to engage with local employers. This engagement will be key, and is guaranteed through a period of work experience. Some major employers have already signed up to the scheme, including Sainsbury’s and Alliance Homes. As the programme continues it is hoped more and more employers will get on board, and we at Central Park certainly hope to see it become a great success.
