Warehouse premises in Bristol welcomes extra regional investment

Businesses from across the South West are expected to benefit from support and investment as a result of the announcement that Creative England is to receive money from the Government’s Regional Growth Fund.

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg said: “The Regional Growth Fund is exactly what this country needs to go for growth and I am delighted to have backed the Creative England bid – it will support this growing sector to invest in projects across the country that have plans for the future and want to recruit local talent.”

Several businesses across the South West have been supported by Creative England via the Government’s RGF program. They include Icon Films, a Bristol-based production company producing high-end factual content for UK and international markets.

Creative England’s dedicated South West Business to Business fund has supported five other companies in the region – Interactive Catwalk, PressApp, Sponge, Delib and aWorkbook.
