Warehouse buildings to let in Bristol pleased to see thousands of jobs created
Central Park Bristol, the available to let warehouse building and distribution premises, is glad to see that thousands of jobs are to be created after a multi-billion-pound nuclear deal has edged closer towards being finalised.
The landmark deal by Japanese firm Hitachi will see them build a nuclear reactor in Oldbury and another in North Wales, after having been involved in high-level talks with the Government for several months. The scheme, which will create more than 1,000 jobs and pump hundreds of millions into the local economy, now seems even more likely than ever to go ahead after the Government brokered a deal with French-owned energy firm EDF earlier this week, which will see a £14 billion nuclear power station built at Hinkley Point in Somerset.
If all goes to plan, a deal could be reached within the next four years and a new power station built in Oldbury by the end of the decade.
This will only go to add to Bristol’s importance to the UK economy, and strengthen their reputation as the most important English city outside of London. With this in mind, it is becoming an increasingly desirable location to base your business or business distribution, and so Central Park Bristol becomes an even more desirable warehouse building to potential distribution companies.
